About Romance Bookish Things
RBT is a clothing brand created for romance readers who want apparel that feels grown, comfortable and personal. Every piece is designed by me. Some styles are quiet with a small text. Others are a bit bolder when the story behind it calls for it. I work with embroidery, prints and different garment styles so each collection feels fresh while keeping the RBT look consistent.
I also create officially licensed merch for authors I love such as Sadie Kincaid, Lola King, Rina Kent and Shantel Tessier. Each design is approved and made with care, so you can wear something that connects to your favorite books in a subtle way.
My goal for RBT is simple. Clothing that feels good, looks clean and fits the energy of the romance reader world. Not overly themed, not generic. Something in between that makes sense. Pieces you can wear at home with your current read, to the bookstore or out with friends without feeling like you are wearing a costume.
If you are the type of reader who knows her comfort tropes, rereads favorite chapters, buys books faster than she can finish them and wants apparel that fits that life, you are in the right place.
Thank you for being here and for supporting this small space made for romance readers.

About me
Hi, I am Athina, the face behind Romance Bookish Things. I am Dutch, but I moved to a small Greek island a few years ago where I live with my husband and our cat Ash. I spend a lot of time thinking about fictional men, book tropes and which hoodie is the softest to read in. I read mostly sports romance and dark romance. My favorite authors include Luna Mason, Rina Kent, Lola King and Chelsea Curto.
I started RBT because I could never find clothing that matched my taste, especially in Europe. Everything felt too girly or too edgy, and nothing felt like something a romance reader would actually wear in real life. I wanted pieces that were simple, stylish and still had personality. When I could not find it, I created it myself.
Your order is made on demand through production partners in Europe or the United States. This keeps quality high and avoids unnecessary waste. It also prevents nearly all customs issues and keeps delivery times normal, which helps a lot because I live on a Greek island. Shipping everything from here would be slow and expensive, so this system works much better for everyone.
If you ever want to talk about books, new merch ideas or a character who has no business being that attractive, my inbox is always open.
