Refund policy

All products sold by Romance Bookish Things are made to order. Each item is produced specifically for your order after purchase. Because production starts shortly after an order is placed, orders cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once production has started.

 

Returns and refunds

Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, returns or exchanges are not accepted for reasons such as ordering the wrong size, changing your mind or expecting a different fit.

However, if there is an issue with your order, I will always help resolve it. A replacement or refund will be provided if one of the following applies:

• Wrong item sent
• Manufacturing defect
• Printing error or damaged product upon arrival

If this applies, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your order. Send an email to mail@romancebookishthings.com with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos of the product. Once the issue has been confirmed, a replacement or full refund will be arranged.

 

Order changes

Orders are sent to production shortly after purchase. Because of this, there is only a short window to request changes. If you need to modify your order, please email as soon as possible after placing your order. I will check if the change is still possible, but this cannot be guaranteed once the order has been sent to production. Once production has started, changes or cancellations are no longer possible.

 

Undeliverable or refused packages

Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address, paying any applicable customs duties or import taxes and collecting their package from the carrier when required.

If a package is refused, not collected from the carrier, or rejected due to unpaid customs charges, the order will not be refunded. All products are made to order and produced specifically for each customer.

 

EU consumer rights

Under EU consumer protection law, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

All products sold by Romance Bookish Things are produced on demand after purchase. Because of this production method, the EU withdrawal right does not apply once production has started.
